Software that starts with the problem, not the technology.

I'm Sakib Bin Kamal — developer, systems thinker, and cofounder of Dooplin Apps S.L. Every product I build starts with a real problem; the technology is just how I solve it.

Portrait of Sakib Bin Kamal

At Dooplin Apps — a Barcelona-registered company committed to building apps that make a positive contribution to society, with privacy at the core — I own the technical side. Solving problems is the point; building apps is just how we get there. When it comes to building and developing — system design, architecture, product planning, what we ship and how — those decisions are mine, so every product carries one coherent technical vision from the first data model to the deployment pipeline.

I'm a full-stack developer and AI engineer by craft. I've designed and shipped multi-tenant RAG platforms, privacy-first browser extensions with reproducible builds, trilingual client websites, and data pipelines that let non-technical teams publish structured data without touching code.

The products speak for this approach. Cognoir is a privacy-first AI document platform that gives non-technical teams instant, sourced answers from their own files. Sitr is a family content filter that's private by construction — all filtering happens on your device, and everything about it is verifiable, not just trusted.

How I Work

Problem-First

I don't build technology for its own sake. Every project starts with a specific problem — the tech stack, the AI model, the architecture all follow from what the problem actually needs.

Privacy-First

I default to minimal data collection, self-hosted infrastructure where possible, and clear data ownership. I build systems people can trust with sensitive information.

Ship & Own

Working software beats slide decks. I scope tightly, ship in weeks, and build things that can be maintained, extended, or handed to another developer without a decoder ring.

Let's connect.

Curious about Dooplin Apps, something I've built, or an idea you're exploring? I'd love to hear from you.
